PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately assemble a connector with a cover by reducing the process of manual operation. SOLUTION: An assembling device for a connector with a cover 21 is provided with a band cutting means 28, a reversing block 30 and a cover fitting means 32. After a first cutting blade 28a of the band cutting means 28 is relatively moved in relation to a cover 24b connected to a connector housing 24a through a band 27 and reversed in the opening direction in relation to a terminal housing part 24c and then the band 27 is cut, the reversing block 30 reverses the cover 24b from the reversed state to the closed state to arrange the cover 24b in the position facing a terminal housing part 24c. Therefore, an assembling process for fitting the cover 24b to the connector housing 24a by the cover fitting means 32 is formed. A housing pressing means 31 is provided to unite a lower connector 24 and an upper connector 25 to each other.
