A ceiling construction, which comprises one or several layers (5, 7) of a heat insulating and sound absorbing material as well as a false ceiling (6), which is a stretched fabric, which conceals said heat insulating material and means (3) for suspending said material and which fabric (6) at the same time permits high as well as low frequency sound to pass into said layers (5, 7). These properties of the fabric are attained by giving its loop holes a specified side size and a specified total area. The fabric is suitably made of artificial fibers and is treated with a fire suppressing coating. |
