The locking arrangement fastens side by side arranged panels or boards on a support frame. The concealed lock is readily operated for fastening the panels on a support frame. The lock does not prevent the alignment of individual panels relative to each other. There is a freely sliding ratchet plug (16) engaging with the ratchet head and associated locking bar (14). It is fitted adjacent to he gap between the panel edges, on the rear wall of the panel. The locking bar (14) is held in the support frame and it can be adjusted by means of a screwdriver passed through the gap. The locking bar (14) is actuated by leadscrew nut held on a leadscrew (11) able to rotate in the support frame.
