The multi-glazed window to reduce heat loss has two outer panes (3, 4) of glass set into a suitable frame (1, 2). The internal spacing between the frames is further sub-divided by a transparent plastic film to again reduce the heat loss. This inner film is in one piece, folded into two lengths (15, 16) with the free ends fixed into the upper part (5, 6) of the frame. The fold line lies downwards and is held by a circular rod (11) onto a profiled sealing pad (21). Tension is applied onto the rod by springs (17) to form three separate internal divisions (12, 13, 14).
