A novel individual support (24) for a heat exchanger is disclosed which frictionally engages the outer surface of a tube-and-fin assembly and provid es for interlocking of the supports (24). The novel support (24) includes an alignment probe (34) to facilitate installation and to prevent axial movemen t of the support (24).
