gas and oil industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed composition is based on high-molecular compounds, specifically, water-absorbing copolymers employed in processes of insulation of oil and gas wells. Composition to change permeability of pools has water-absorbing acryl copolymer, oxidant, alkaline agent and alcohol with following proportion of components, per cent by mass: acryl copolymer 0.1-5.0; oxidant 0.001- 0.4; alkaline agent 0.001-0.2; alcohol 0-50.0, water being the balance. Usage of composition results in change of permeability of productive pool under high temperature and mineralization of stratal water in wide range of regulated time, in sealing of well for the course of 18-36 h for drilling and repair operations with subsequent restoration of permeability of pool after 24-48 h. EFFECT: ability to change permeability of productive pool under high temperature and mineralization of stratal water. 1 cl, 1 tbl
