PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor drum driving device making the generation of vibration as a result of engagement of gears and such as a timing belt provided in the conventional photoreceptor, and the generation of resonance on a drive transmission system is eliminated, therefore, irregular rotary speed is prevented from occurring, and to provide the photoreceptor drum driving device being free from, difficulty for taking synchronism like individual motors at a low cst. SOLUTION: While an ultra magnetostriction element 6 for press contact is holding a drive transmission member 1 on a position in press-contact with plural photoreceptor drums 2, the ultra magnetostriction element 5 for transport shifts the drive transmission member 1 in one direction, and while the ultra magnetostriction element 6 for press contact is bringing the drive transmission member 1 into a position non-contact with the plural photoreceptor drums 2, the drive transmission member 1 is shifted in another direction by the ultra magnetostriction element 5. |
