A carburetor assembly had primary and secondary venturi passages(12)(13) to supply a lean mixture to main combustion chambers, and had an auxiliary venturi passage(14) to supply a rich mixture to auxiliary combustion chamver. Throttle valves(18)(20)(22) in each passage was provided with shafts(19)(21)(23), the shaft(19) for the primary throttle valve(18) projecting through a hollow hub. Several members and springs were mounted on the hub and served to control turning movement of all throttle shafts during various operating conditions of an engine.
