PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and apparatus for measuring the interface position whereby the this position can be accurately measured with a little number of terminals even if the interface is between an oil and water layers having near values of specified gravity or an emulsion layer interposes. SOLUTION: In a method of measuring the position of the interface 14, 16 between at least two kinds of liqs. having different microwave energy absorption ratios, using a microwave type concentration meter 3, a sensor terminal 4 of the densimeter 3 is dipped in the liq. approximately vertically to the interface between the liqs. and the liq. interface position is measured with a detection response signal on the sensor terminal 4. |
