PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube device capable of reducing a leakage electric field and a leakage magnetic field without wasting power and with an inexpensive and simple structure. SOLUTION: In this cathode-ray tube device, a cancel coil generating a magnetic field canceling out a leakage magnetic field generated from a deflection yoke 2 is composed using at least one closed lop coil 5 or 6, and part of wires forming the closed loop coils 5 and 6 is arranged roughly parallel to at least either one of an upper rim 40a or a lower rim 40b of a screen effective area 40 of a front panel 1a.
