PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high definition disk driving device by lowering the contact sound generated between gears and racks at the time of carrying in/out the disk in a disk loading mechanism using a transmission means of the driving force by a rotationally driven motor and the plural gears and racks. SOLUTION: This disk driving device has a disk loading mechanism for executing two operations that a disk tray 3 is driven in the disk transporting direction by a loading motor 24, to which a worm gear 30 is attached, through a 1st wheel gear 27 and a 2nd wheel gear 28, and that a unit mechanism is moved up and down through a slide plate. Also a means for restricting the axial runout of the worm gear 30 is provided, thereby lowering the contact sound of the gear/clutch parts.
