PURPOSE:To ensure an effective noise reduction and thus to enhance the picture quality through variable mixture ratio by memorizing the output signal of the arithmetic circuit via the frame memory in the form of the input and at the same time using the output as the signal preceding by one frame to control the motion detector circuit. CONSTITUTION:Motion detector circuit 3 detects the difference between the signal of one frame where the TV signal exists and th signal preceding by one frame to then detect the motion between the picture frames. And mixture ratio generator circuit 13 receives the output of circuit 3 to decide the mixture ratio between the signal of the specified frame and the signal preceding by one frame. Arithmetic circuit 2 mixes up the frame signal and the signal preceding by one frame based on the mixture ratio decided through circuit 13, and the output signal of circuit 2 is memorized through memory 4 in the form of the input. At the same time, the output is used as the signal preceding by one frame to control circuit 3 and then vary the mixture ratio. In such way, the noise can be reduced effectively to enhance the picture quality. |
