<??>The present invention relates to an apparatus for emptying single- and multi-walled packages (1), for example sacks, bags etc., the apparatus comprising a substantially funnel-shaped frame (2) with an openable and closable discharge and with first means (18) on the inside of the frame (2) for slitting the package wall and, thereby, for opening the package (1) in the vicinity of the discharge.
<??>An aspect, of the present invention is to reduce and, if possible, eliminate the above discussed working environmental problems in conjunction with the handling of large sack packages.
<??>This aspect is achieved according to the present invention in that a sleeve (37) is disposed on the inside of the frame (2) for abutment against a package (1) lowered into the frame for emptying. </p> |
