CONGESTION INFORMATION TRANSFER SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To collect required information sufficiently to make a proper treatment possible by causing a specification cntrol unit to obtain measurement results from a congestion detection unit in the exchange side continuously at a fixed period and total them and analyze them and perform condition discrimination. CONSTITUTION:Congestion detection unit DET measures the busy rate of common units such as a incoming register group at a regular interval for a fixed time in the in the fundamental period and totals it and transmits information if the result exceeds a detection threshold set previously. Meanwhile, specification control unit CONT obtains measurement results from unit DET in the exchange side continuously at a fixed period and totals them to perform condition discrimination and discriminates whether the exchange has escaped from a congestion state or not. When it is discriminated that the exchange has escaped from a congestion state as the result, information trnasfer stop signals are transmitted to unit DET of the exchange. As a result, unit CONT can collect required information sufficiently to perform a proper treatment.
