<p>E.I. du Pont de Nemouro and Company(Czerwin Edward P.) Improved polyvinyl alcohol modified starch-based corrugating adhesive is provided by employing a fine particle size, low cold water solubles containing polyvinyl alcohol that is soluble in warm water, in combination with borax, alkali and water. Corrugated board with lower adhesive addon and high line speeds can be produced by the use of the improved polyvinyl alcohol modified starch adhesive. The resulting board has decreased warpage as a result of the lower add-on.</p> |
