6-Deoxy-6-carbonylthioglucopyranosyl acetimidates of the general formula (I) [wherein R<11>, R<12> and R<13> are each independently alkyl or silyl; R<14> is hydrogen, alkyl, or aryl; R<15> is alkyl; and R<16> is hydrogen or alkyl]. These compounds are useful as intermediates for the synthesis of sulfoquinovosylacylglycerols useful as the active ingredient of anticancer and immunosuppressive drugs and so on.
