PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system, with which a simplified center device manages/operates plural terminals in different function scales, for example, while using the same software. SOLUTION: This security system is constituted by connecting plural terminals T1 and plural center devices C1 through the Internet N1. The terminal T1 performs monitoring while utilizing the detected result provided from a burglar sensor T10 and stores information as the monitored result so as to read it through a Web server T11 and when the information is to be reported, it is transmitted through the Internet N1 to the related center device C1 as report mail. In the center device C1, the report mail transmitted from each of terminals T1 through the Internet N1 is received and corresponding to prescribed read operation to an input device C10, various kinds of information of the desired terminal T1 are displayed through both the functions of a Web read C13 of the relevant center device C1 and a Web server T11 of the terminal T1 onto a display device C11.
