FLUORESCENT LAMP PULVERIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fluorescent lamp pulverizer with simple structure by which waste fluorescent lamps in homes or offices are simply pulverized to small dust which can be compactly discarded as noncombustible dust. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp pulverizer is constituted of a charging passage 1 of a rectangle shape when seen from a planar side which has a charging port 2 at an upper end and a lower end of which is communicated with a dust chamber 4 in a casing 3 and punching bars 5 which come in and go out in a horizontal direction toward the charging passage 1 from a flank of a longitudinal side. A large number of punching bars 5 are arranged over whole regions of the flank on the longitudinal side of the charging passage 1 and further are formed over upper and lower plural steps. Respective punching bars 5 are constituted so as to be joined to a holder 7 via buffer means 6 for absorbing shock located at its rear end parts and to conduct reciprocal movement by rotation of a can 8.
