The present invention is directed to an assembly for stabilizing a vehicle supported on at least three pairs of wheels or tracks, wherein various pairs of wheels are selectively connected to one another in bogie style so as to reduce tipping movement of the vehicle chassis as the wheels travel over uneven terrain. A second embodiment of the invention discloses means to control the bogies with respect to their direction of rotative movement. Fluid damping means are provided for some or all of the wheels. These damping means are interconnected with longitudinal and diagonal conduits, with pumps and valves placed to control the movement of the fluid medium between the respective damping means. |
