PURPOSE:To form the title panel low in the effect of an eddy current in an alternating magnetic field and reduced in residual radioactivity, by holding a metal perforated core material composed of a honeycomb core material or the like between two thin metal surface plates and welding these materials to form the same into a unified structure. CONSTITUTION:Two metal surface plates 2 having a predetermined interval therebetween, metal side plates 3 provided to the end edge parts of said two surface plates 2 and forming a closed space 5 along with the surface plates 2 and a metal perforated core material 4 present in the aforementioned closed space 5 to support two surface plates 2 are welded to be formed into a unified structure. When the material quality of this panel is set to stainless steel or Al to use said panel in a particle accelerator, a nuclear fusion reactor or an analyzer, characteristics such that the effect of an eddy current is reduced and residual radioactivity is reduced while the transmissivity of high energy beam is enhanced can be imparted and, therefore, the capacities of the above- mentioned apparatuses can be markedly enhanced. |
