Workpiece jig separator mechanism - has stops mounted on common component working with front and rear lugs

The mechanism separates workpiece jigs travelling on a friction roller track etc., having two stops on the latter one behind the other and extensible into the path of lugs on the jigs. The stops (11, 12) are mounted on a common member (10) operated by a single actuator (9). Each jig (6) has a front (13) and a rear (14) lug, working with the first (11) and second (12) stops respectively in the travel direction. The actuator can be a hydraulic or pneumatic ram or a solenoid. The stops and the lugs can be offset from each other in the transverse direction.
