Vertical sliding guided window - has vertical guide blocks connected directly and indirectly to releasing actuator

The vertical sliding window has two vertically guided frames. The windows are moved by vertical ropes passing over pulleys at the top of the combined window. The vertical movement blocking mechanism is readily released without adversely affecting operating safety. The window has centrally actuated releasing mechanism (11, 12, 13, 15, 16) for simultaneous retraction of guide blocks of the window panel (2) away from the guide profiles. A guide block (10) is connected directly to the releasing actuator. Another guide block is connected by a reversing drive (16) to the releasing actuator.
