PURPOSE:To provide the photosensitive material which decreases fogging and has an excellent granular characteristic and color reproducibility by incorporating at least one kind of specific compds. into said material and providing a means of developing an inter-image effect to at least one of emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of the compds. expressed by the formula I and at least one layer of the emulsion layers contain the means of developing the inter-image effect. In the formula, X, Y may be the same as or different from each other and denote a cyano group, carboxy group, etc.; X, Y may be connected to each other to form a ring. R1, R2 may be the same as or different from each other and denote a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, etc.; R3, R4 may be the same as or different from each other and denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R3, R4 may form 5--6-membered rings; R1 and R3, R2 and R4 may be respectively connected to form 5--6-membered rings. L denotes a methyne group. The increase of the fogging is obviated and the color reproducibility is improved. |
