发明名称 PREPARATION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE ALCOHOL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title substance, by reacting a carbonyl compound with a dialkylmagnesium in the presence of an alkali metal salt of optically active 2- hydroxymethyl-1-[(1-methyl-pyrrolidin-2-yl)methyl]pyrrolidine. CONSTITUTION:A dialkylmagnesium of formula I:(R<1> is alkyl group) is reacted with an aldehyde (A) of formula II:(R<2> is alkyl or aryl group) in the presence of an alkali metal salt of optically active 2-hydroxymethyl-1-[(1-methylpyrrolidin- 2-yl)methl]pyrrolidine (B) as a ligand at a molar ratio of (B) to (A) of 1-20:1 in an inert solvent, e.g. toluene, at 0--200 deg.C to give an alcohol of formula III. Preferably, the ligand is previously mixed with the compound of formula I in the inert solvent. EFFECT:High yield and optical purity.
