Apparatus for feeding particulate material including fibres to a spray device comprises a material supply 5, a circulating means 6 and a rake 7, wherein said rake 7 is arranged to oppose a pressing means 8 and a discharging means 9. The circulating means 6 comprises a rotatable member 61 with a space S1 between the wall of a chamber 3 and said rotatable member and adapted to feed, below the rotatable member 61, material 4 from said material supply 5 toward the rake 7 and return, above the rotatable member 61, the material remaining in a space S3 between the rake 7 and the circulating means 6 from the rake 7 to the material supply 5 by rotation of the rotatable member 61. The rake comprises a rotatable member 71 on the periphery of which raking members 711 are provided to convey the material 4 delivered by said circulating means 6. The pressing means 8 comprises a rotatable member 81 adapted to press the material 4 against said rake 7 to forcibly engage the material being fed by the rake, and said discharging means 9 is adapted to separate the material from the rotatable member 71 of said rake 7 between said pressing means 8 and a material outlet 33 and discharge the material toward the outlet 33. <IMAGE> |
