PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning equipment which does not require special facilities and maintenance costs for elimination of clogging, maintains initial high asorbability for a long period of time, provides excellent efficiency in terms of performance and cost effectiveness and is capable of removing water pollutants. SOLUTION: This water cleaning equipment comprises a storage body constituted by packing absorptive materials into containers having water permeable segments and is capable of adsorbing and removing contamination components during contact of the absorptive materials and polluted water. Liquid dispersing materials are arranged within the packed beds of the absorptive materials.
