PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the security of the same running speed as that of the normal book-binding contrary to the present condition that the binding of an oblong deformed book has been performed only at a low speed due to the easily developing slippage of paper. SOLUTION: Once a multiple columned book 2 is formed under the condition that paper for a plurality of volumes is adopted as a bookbinding unit. After that, the multiple columned book 2 is separated into predetermined numbers, resulting in allowing to manufacture a large number of deformed and oblong books at a high speed.
