PURPOSE:To enable drain water in a cooling operation and water arising from defrosting in a heating operation to be disposed of by a simple construction by sprinkling water contained in a pan an exterior heat exchanger in the cooling operation and sprinkling the water an interior heat exchanger in the heating operation, in a switching manner. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a cooling operation, a switching part 10 is changed over to the side of an exterior piping 12. With a pump 9 operated in conjunction with the operation of a compressor 19, drain water collected in a pan 1 can be sprinkled on an exterior heat exchanger 7 to be evaporated by the heat of condensation. At the time of a heating operation, the switching part 10 is changed over to the side of an interior piping 11. With the pump 9 operated in conjunction with the operation (exclusive of an operation for defrosting) of the compressor 19, water arising from defrosting and collected in the pan 1 can be sprinkled on an interior heat exchanger 5 to be evaporated by the heat of condensation, thereby humidifying room air. |
