PURPOSE: A real-time/on-demand tourist broadcast system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to check the location of a mobile terminal user periodically and to transmit multimedia tourist information, corresponding to many pieces of location information based on the movement of the user, in real time. CONSTITUTION: A real-time/on-demand tourist broadcast system(200) is comprised of a stream data generation part(210), a database(220), a tourist information search part(270), a member management part(230), a broadcast data management part(240), a broadcasting part(250), and a location trace part(260). The location trace part(260) is periodically provided the location information of a mobile terminal user from a mobile service provider, connected through a network(300), and temporarily stores it. The broadcasting part(250) makes the location trace part(260) provide the location information of the mobile terminal user while transmitting a search request signal to the tourist information search part(270). The broadcasting part(250) contains a real-time broadcasting unit(252), an on-demand broadcasting unit(254), and a data transmit-receive unit. The real-time broadcasting unit(252), if a tourist broadcast request signal is received from the mobile terminal user, requests the location trace part(260) to provide the location information of the mobile terminal user. The real-time broadcasting unit(252) periodically receives the location information of the mobile terminal user and transmits rough tourist information, corresponding to many pieces of location information based on the movement of the user, to the mobile terminal in real time. |
