<p>A method of making plastic screen where a plurality of pegs are vertically positioned within an open topped mold, and a castable liquid plastic is then poured into the mold. The bottom ends of the pegs are tapered, so that the holes or openings in the finished plastic screen are flared. Metal reinforced plastic screen is made in the same manner, only a peg is positioned within each opening of a metal screen positioned closely adjacent the mold bottom or base, and the liquid plastic is poured into the mold to a height above the metal screen.
