PURPOSE:To constitute the character recognition unit with low cost, by compulsively correcting the output display words on the condition that the agreement of the number of characters and correct characters are more than the specified number, to the standard display words. CONSTITUTION:The characters displayed on the slip 1 are recognized with the character recognizer 2 and they are combined into the output display word 3 for one word's share. On the other hand, a plural number of standard display words which will be displayed on the slip 1 are stored in the memory unit 7 in the order of number of characters. Further, the output display word 3 is compared with the standard display words sequentially read out from the memory unit 7 in word unit at the word comparison processor 4. When the number of characters constituting a word is in agreement and the specific character constituting the word exceeds the predetermined value for the common number of characters in agreement including the location, the output display word 3 is compulsively corrected so that it is in agreement with the standard display word. |
