摘要 <p>PURPOSE:to regenerate adsorbing agent without use of heating gas power, to shorten the period for changing adsorption towers, and to decrease press. loss, by applying desorption at subatmospheric press. caused by press. difference between adsorption and desorption towers, to the regeneration of zeolite having been used for adsorbing moisture and CO2 contained in raw material air, and by using impure N2 gas as the desorbing gas. CONSTITUTION:Raw material air is pressurized by a compressor 1 to a press. not lower than 5 kg/cm<2>G, cooled in an after-cooler 2 and a cooler 3 to about 0 deg.C, it is then delivered to a gas/liq. separator 4, where it is separated from condensed water. The air is introduced into an adsorption towers 5a of the two, which are packed with synthetic zeolite and are used alternately with a period of approximately 10 min, where it is freed of moisture and CO2 through adsorption, successively it is led to a low temp. separator 6, where it is rectified into O2, N2, impure N2 gas etc. The impure N2 gas 12 drawn off the low temp. separator 6, at 0 deg.C and at approximately atmospheric press., is run into the adsorption tower 5b, where moisture and CO2 are desorbed from the adsorbing agent because of the press. difference between those at desorption and adsorption towers, hereby regenerating the adsorbing agent, and releasing the impure N2 gas 15 after desorption to the air.</p>
