PURPOSE:To remove the effect of fluctuation factors of detection system and conveying system and make the correctness judgement of paper form objects being intermittently conveyed higher in accuracy by using three color light as the transmitted light and reflected light in the detecting part in discrimination of railway tickets or the like. CONSTITUTION:Photo detectors 23 thru 28 receive the reference light of a light source 50 when there are no detecting objects 48 being conveyed in the direction 47 by belts 41 thru 46, and receive respectively 3 channels of the transmitted light and reflected light when there is the detecting object 48. In addition, the outputs of paper-end-detecting photo detectors 57 thru 60 are supplied to a timing control circuit 65, by which various timing signals necessary for detection processing are obtained. The outputs of the photo detectors 23 thru 28 are amplified, then integrated 66 thru 71 and are converted to series signals in a multiplexer 72. After these signals are subjected to A/D conversion 73, they are memorized 74, operated 75 and memorized 76. The storage data are outputted as the signals of 1 or 0 according to the conditions having beforehand been determined by a detection discriminating firmware 77. |
