发明名称 ELECTROLYTICALLY REFINING METHOD FOR COPPER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enhance the quality of electrolytic copper and reduce a power loss, in refining of copper by electrolysis in an acidic copper soln., by dissolving a polyoxyalkylene phosphate in the soln, to make copper crystals deposited on a cathode dense and smooth and to control growth of protrusions. CONSTITUTION:In refining of copper by electrolysis, a phosphate having a polyoxyalkylene chain is dissolved in an acidic electrolytic soln., and electrolysis is carried out to recover pure copper deposited on a cathode. The phosphate is represented by the formula (where m is 2 or 3, n is an integer of 2-80, R is H or a hydrocarbon group, X is a polyoxyethylene chain and Y is a hydrocarbon group, H, an alkali metal, ammonium or an amine). The amt. of the phosphate added is 0.1- 500, pref. 1-10 ppm, and that used is 1-300, pref. 1-100 g/t of electrodeposited copper. By making combined use of a small amt. of glue, thiourea or the like a synergistic effect is shown.</p>
