<p>The prefabricated concrete section e.g. garage, is held on the back of the transport by a vertical frame at the front end. The frame slides along the lorry on guide rails, and when it reaches the end, vertical guide rails move the frame to ground level. The concrete section is clamped to the frame by special clamping wires tied around the top of the section and secured by special bolts threaded into captive threads cast into the concrete. The clamping wires are arranged so that the relatively thin concrete walls are not damaged. The concrete sections do not require any special holes for inserting lifting forks or booms. The shape and size of the section does not have to be within close limits, provided it fits on the lorry.</p> |
