A finished plate (2), which runs transversely across the entire roadway and is prefabricated in the thickness of the floor plate, is used to manufacture a prestressed-concrete floor plate and has openings (3) in the supporting region above the longitudinal bridge girders (1). These openings (3) are delimited by transverse supporting beams (4) and are filled with concrete after laying. On the underside of the transverse beams (4), in their supporting region above the longitudinal girder, recesses (3') are provided in such a manner that the mounted finished plates (2) surround the upper boom of the longitudinal girder (1). The finished plates (2) are laid with a laying device which consists of two laying carriages (12) and two advance carriages (13), and are suspended on longitudinal beams (16) for transport. For laying, in each case one finished plate (2) is suspended on two longitudinal beams (16) and advanced as far as the front end of the finished plates already laid. The front end of the longitudinal beams is then set down on the advance carriage (13) and the finished plate (2) is, with the aid of the latter, brought into the laying position and mounted on the upper boom of the longitudinal girder (1). The static system of this highly loadable finished plate is virtually the same for the assembly state as for the final state. <IMAGE>
