In order to enable the objects to be fed into the machine in a simple manner, the device comprises a container (2) in the form of a framework (3) shaped like a rectangular strip and constituting a wall which surrounds the objects (4) contained therein. The framework (3) can be cut along one edge or one of its sides is formed by two superimposed flaps. The device also comprises two end covers (5). Finally, the device comprises a loading chute (1) which is designed to receive the objects (4) and to transport them into the machine. The chute (1) can be opened and closed on one of its sides by means of a small door (8) giving access to an aperture (11) formed in a sidewall of said chute. To feed the machine, the edge is completely cut away, one cover (5) is removed, the small door in the chute is opened, the container is inserted, the other cover is removed, the small door is closed again and the top part of the framework is lifted thereby releasing the objects. <IMAGE>
