PURPOSE:To provide a ventilating fan having an effect of removing NO2, CO and the like contained in atmospheric contaminated substances flowing in the room from the outside in accompaniment with the introduction of fresh air. CONSTITUTION:Particulate substances contained in an air stream a generated by a fan 3 are removed by a dust-proof filter 9. further, an acidic gas such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide or the like is removed by a NO2 removing filter 10 which is a composition of powdery active carbon, alkali and a cement agent. Furthermore, carbon monoxide which has been contained in the air stream a is purified by a CO purifying catalyst filter 11 prepared by allowing a hardening substance of a composition of alkali, powdery active coal, and a cement agent, to carry a precious metal such as platinum or the like and clean and fresh air is introduced in the room. |
