PURPOSE:To stabilize formation of high-quality images even under high humidity and to enhance durability by forming an interlayer obtained by hardening a composition comprising a metal-containing unsaturated carboxylic acid compound as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by successively laminating on a conductive substrate a photoconductive layer, the interlayer, and a surface protective layer and that interlayer is formed by hardening the composition comprising the metal-containing unsaturated carboxylic acid compound as a main component, such as Zn, Al, Mg, or Sn acrylate, or Zn, Mg, Sn, or Al salt of maleic acid or itaconic acid, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be enhanced in resolution under high temperature and high humidity and in the adhesion of the surface protective layer. |
