<p>A resin compsn. comprises a mixt. of an aq. melamine formaldehyde resin soln. and 2.5-30 wt. % of an elastomer. The elastomer comprises an ethylene vinyl chloride copolymer contg. 0.5-7.0 wt. % amide gps. or a polyurethane resin contg. 3-10 wt. % carboxyl gps. and has a particle size of =20,000 angstroms. Used as an impregnant for, and a transparent film covering, a decorative print sheet used in surface finishing of furniture. The elastomer confers resistance to crazing and cracking at low humidity.</p> |
