<p>The window for caravans etc. hinges outwards on trunnions at its long top edge. One or both trunnions (2) form an automatic locking device, the latter including an uncoupling mechanism (8). The locking device can at the same time be arranged to act as a protection against overloading, and there can be a common lever (12) actuating the uncoupling mechanism and locking and unlocking the window. The locking device can be in the form of ratchet teeth on the trunnion, working against a mating portion of the window frame.</p> |
