The double-skinned external or internal wall is hung onto the retained formwork of a ceiling made of reinforced concrete. A head batten (3) is fixed to the formwork (6) which is firmly connected to the ceiling. Panel elements (7) of the wall, incorporating groove and tongue, are hung onto the batten sideways. A movement joint gap at the bottom permits vertical displacement of the wall as a result of ceiling sag. An elastic intermediate layer may be inserted between batten and panels, stressing the fixture elements so as to preserve a prescribed vertical gap (12) between adjacent hung panels. This provides for sag in a wide-span ceiling, without transferring.
|
