The electrical terminal housing is made of insulating material. It is adapted to accommodate an electrical terminal with a strain relief member adapted to be crimped into an encompassing engagement around the wire connected to the terminal. More particularly, the strain relief member consists of a pair of vertical walls (46) which are crimped inwardly and downwardly to mechanically grip the outer insulating jacket of the wire. These vertical walls may be of a suitable non-metallic material and may be integral with the material of the housing containing the individual metal terminal elements.
