Projector film drive and spooling is for the continuous projection of looped Super 8 mm film of lengths between 300 and 610 metres. A motor drive base unit powers the film drive capstan. The film can be fed from cartridge or cassette and is laced around peripheral guides on a large disc spooling plate adjacent to the projection gate and drive.
