摘要

Surface characterizing method involves establishing statistic functions corresponding to colorimetric components of a standardized color chart read under a given light, with reference colorimetric components obtained under standard lighting. The functions are applied to the components on a portion of a rough digital image to obtain a corrected digital image of a surface to be characterized, independent of the luminosity during exposure. The corrected digital image is processed to characterize the colorimetry of the surface.
