PURPOSE:To prevent worsening a running feeling due to frequently repeated speed change by selecting a power pattern of a converter drive position being in a high speed side at the moment of detection of an operation of a constant-speed running gear so as to carry out speed change control of a speed change pattern switching-type auto-speed changing gear. CONSTITUTION:A speed change pattern switching-type auto-speed changing gear (C) to transmit a driving power of an engine (B) having a constant-speed running apparatus (A) to wheels (D) has a normal pattern of a converter drive position being in a relatively low speed side and at least one power pattern of a converter drive position being in a relatively high speed side and these patterns are selectively used according to the driving conditions. In this case, a constant-speed running detection means (E) to detect the operation of the constant-speed running apparatus (A) is installed. An out-put signal from the detection means (E) is put in a power pattern selecting means (F), and when constant-speed running is detected, the power pattern is let be selected as a speed change pattern, and the auto-speed changing gear (C) is let carry out a speed change control based on said power pattern. |
