PURPOSE:To make possible digital displaying in synchronization to analog displaying by providing a phase detecting means to the watch which makes analog displaying and detecting the analog display time. CONSTITUTION:The time standard signal from an oscillation circuit 1 is devided 2 to make unit time signals of 1 Hz, the outputs whereof are then shaped to alternate pulses of 1/2 Hz in a driving circuit 3 and are supplied to an electro-mechanical converting means 4, causing the wheel train 5 engaged to the means 4 to rotate. The second hand, minute hand and hour hand forming an analog display means 100 are provided to the wheel train 5. A phase detecting means 6 is provided to a part of the wheel train 5 and the detection phase thereof is inputted as electric signal into a code counter 7, where it is held as digital quantity. This digital quantity is converted to the hour and minute in a conversion circuit 8, then the time displaying in a digital display means 200 is accomplished by interpreting and driving circuit 9. On the other hand, the 1-Hz signal goes through a counter 10 and circuit 9 and the second display is accomplished by the means 200. |
