PURPOSE:In dry type denitrificator, the catalyst layer is carried by a lot of sloped support units with their ends overlapped, thereby effecting thermal stress removal, and easy repair and operation control. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst layer 1 is carried by supporter 2 comprising a lot of support units 3a, 3b, etc. Screens 4a, 4b that hold the catalyst and pass waste gas are attached to support frames 5a, 5b by connectors 6a, 6b. The support units 3a, 3b are connected so that the ends 7a, 7b of the adjacent screens 4a, 4b are overlapped each other. The screens are flexible enough to adapt to thermal expansion and distortion, causing no thermal stress. The screens further can be partially replaced, facilitating repair, operation, and control. Movable supporter construction for catalyst may be provided by using sloped support units with walls for preventing catalyst collapsing. |
