PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of crosstalk and achieve the improvement in track density and reliability by covering both sides of the position including the magnetic gap of the track rail of a slider by a bonder containing magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:The circumference of a front gap 1 is covered with a binder 14 containing magnetic powder and the end is so flat-finished that only the gap end exposes from the covering of the binder. More specifically, the binder 14 containing magnetic powder is coated on the track rail including the front gap 1 and the core end. After setting, the binder is polished down to the dot-dash line position to perform leveling and sizing of the gap width d. This makes it possible to prevent side crosstalk noise owing to magnetic shield effect, narrow the pitch between tracks and improve track density. |
