<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the steady operation for the circuit containing the memory contents as well as to protect the circuit component parts from breakdown by securing the output of the correct reset pulse when the power switch is turned on and off. CONSTITUTION:Power supply rectifier circuit 2 generates the output voltage of rise and fall of the time constant when power switch 1a is turned on and off. The output of circuit 2 is applied to the base of 1st transistor Tr5 via resistance 8; the emitter of Tr5 is earthed via capacitor 15; and diodes 9a-9n are connected between capacitor 15 and circuit 2 to supply the current to capacitor 15. Furthermore, Tr6 is provided between the collector of Tr5 and the output of circuit 2; 3rd Tr7 is connected between the collector of Tr6 and the output of circuit 2; and capacitor 16 with the time constant set to the fixed value plus resistance 13 are connected to the base of Tr7 respectively. Thus, the output given from the emitter of Tr7 is supplied to circuit 2 containing the counter and the ratch as the reset pulse.</p> |
